My Life 2.0 Interview

Recently I was interviewed by My Life 2.0, a platform focused on living as comfortably as possible with an illness or disability. In this interview, I share my personal experiences of living within my limits – something that for me has not proven to be a restriction, but rather a process of learning to listen to my body and needs. The conversation is honest, sometimes confronting, but above all hopeful and focused on what *is* possible. Are you curious about my story and the insights that have helped me?

“Physically, I already felt that I couldn't run marathons anymore, but in my head, I still wanted to go back to how I was before I got sick. I really had to let that go. I asked myself if it was really that bad if I couldn't run that marathon anymore. I struggled with that for quite some time until I came to a conclusion: it isn't.

Then I started to accept that I would permanently have less energy, and as a result, my focus shifted. I started figuring out what was important to me, what made me happy, and what brought me joy in life. And what I could still do with that 70% energy.”
